When you buy a CNC product there are 2 critical aspects to consider, are you getting a quality product and does the company provide support. Tom and the staff at Dynomotion knocked both of these requirements out of the park. Having spent a good deal of my career building circuit boards I can tell you the quality of the product is impeccable. When it comes to support there are 2 users groups, one on CNC Zone and one on Yahoo. Tom, the CEO, personally monitors and responds to questions and concerns that are posted. I had never programmed in C but by reading the posts and responses and by asking questions directly to Tom I have been able to get my machine up and running with all of the bells and whistles I was hoping for. I can highly recommend that Dynomotion be placed at the top of your shopping list for CNC control products
At present i have 3 kflop board (the first on 2012) for and ATC router, and ATC lathe and an wire EDM (under construction) I'm not a programmer (I would like underline this) and I only have praises for this motion control board AND for the technical support of Tom and all your staff, this is extremely important, the program is constantly being updated, adding new features, and fixing bugs, helping users in their particular applications, all in a short time, about the board it's a profesional board, it's difficult to find similar board, a control board with technical features as complete as this board has, the vast majority of the time it far exceeds the specifications that the user needs is like using a supercomputer for playing Minesweeper

This company has great products and the best possible company policy, care for the user
Amazing products! Bought a Kflop and Kanalog for a Mazak V-10 retrofit, no machine hardware update need. Uses original drives, tachogenerators and RESOLVERS for servo closed loop, resolver accuracy(electric)0.002 mm. Works perfect even with very complicated shapes and high speed. The servo tuning is very easy. I strongly recommend to use KMotionCNC, the trajectory planner works perfect. Anyone who needs help with similar machine, just send email: [****]
Very pleased with the product.
I have a KFlop since a couple of years and used it to build a milling machine. I'm really happy with the KFlop, it's programmable and has all the features I need. I plan to expand the sistem with a KAnalog later on.
The support is fantastic! Definitly the best support ever.
Tom never lets you alone. He not only answers patiently all questions that are asked again and again, but even updates the code every time a user makes a reasonable comment. In no time, a new version that corrects the bug or implements the missing feature, is out there!
Buy KFlop with confidence, it's a professional product with advanced features but thanks to the fantastic support, even a beginner is granted to be successful with it.

I was looking to build a cnc machine for a while, but couldn't decide which direction to go, so started buying components on ebay like servo drives and controler even bought the software (Mach III). Lucky enough I found a second hand EDM machine from 1995 (good for cnc milling rebuild), the control panel has gone up in smoke (so the price was very cheap), it has 3 Heinenhain glass scales and C3 ball screws. So I started to get very excited about the accuracy that this machine could deliver. After some research I realised that we needed a different controler, one that could create the second closed loop (feedback from the glass scales on the axis) as well as the analogue output needed for the servo drives, so the Kflop extended with the Kanalog was the solution for me. First I started using Mach III as the interface, but after a while I realised that using the KmotionCNC was very easy, no more pluggin for Mach III, it was all we needed and more, fast accurate and stable.
The quality of products, and the outstanding service, just incredible, would recommend Dynomotion to anyone.
Keep up the good work

The hardware works exactly as promised. The software works exactly as promised. Support is excellent...Any time I've asked a question, either directly or via the newsgroup it has been answered, usually within 24 hours. Exceptional support and attention to detail--I never get half-answers. System could use a few more basic examples for beginners and links between examples and code, but Dynomotion has always filled in those blanks with fast email support. I wrote a CNC milling application in a few months with the KFlop and KMotionDotNet and it fully enables a coder to utilize the hardware\'s potential. In my case it enabled me to abandon buggy older CNC applications!
I own 2 kflops, one for my cnc router and another for my cnc mill. The product and support are simply outstanding. Tom really goes way out of his way to quickly and expertly respond to all your questions. Kflp is an amazing and extremely versatile product. New features and addons are constantly added to improve the features and versatility of the product. This is a professional grade product with top quality components. I am a very happy customer and highly recommend this product.
We use the Kflop cards for different projects, running 7 different programs at the same time on one card helped a lot in our projects. The support is ok, documentation about some programming aspects could be a little better in some cases. But it is a great product.
After my first retrofit of a CNC knee mill with steppers and glass scales(2008 time frame),i was searching for a way to close the loop. Came across the KFLOP board and was amazed how well the stepper closed loop works. The support from Tom is the best i have ever seen...when a wall appears he stomps it down flat and keeps going. I have said this about very few people. Currently using a KFLOP on my mill/drill stepper with glass scales at home. Here is a link to it, the page is a little out of date. http://www.homecncstuff.elementfx.com/MillDrill.html The price of board might seem high compared to other USB boards, but the power and options in a KFLOP is much more than the others, especially if you know C programming. I would recommend this board on any level from home hobby to industrial.
Thanks again.

Working with the Dynomotion KFLOP motion controller while preparing our biological tissue models for launch aboard SpaceX CRS17 to the International Space Station as a part of NIH/NCATS Chips in Space initiative was without a doubt the smoothest and most reliable portion of our engineering implementation. It is incredible how quickly we were able to integrate 32 independent linear axes across 4 KFLOP units to create a fluid handling system for our on-site ground support equipment, responsible for sustaining and differentiating our bioengineered tissues. The integration with LabView is seamless and coordinated communication with all 32 axes from control software on a regular laptop was instantaneous. The system operated at 100% uptime for weeks. Hardware aside, Dynomotion also provides great diagnosis and test software-very useful for testing individual motors-and the KMotion motion control libraries are incredibly robust. Perhaps the most appreciated aspect of Dynomotion is Tom's responsiveness and willingness to help with troubleshooting;I had trouble with a bug in the Windows USB stack of an oddly configured desktop, and Tom continued helping without missing a beat even after it was clear to us both that the problem had nothing to do with Dynomotion hardware. I would recommend the KFLOP without a doubt for multi-axis motion control.

I've been designing &building cnc type machines for the past 30 years or so. As you can imagine, I've played with many different controllers, drives, software, etc in that time. I purchased my first KFlop system about 6 years ago. Since then, I've not bothered nor found a need to use an alternate controller :) A big thankyou to Dynomotion. The KFlop hardware and software systems "were" the best. I loved the flexibility, power and openness the most. I said "were" above as the Kogna looks even better. I'm looking forward to using it. Thanks again guys.
we are planning on builting a new desktop robot using Kflop which is a 4 axis Bot. The axes are driven by servo. But we have an issues with selecting the Kflop components. Can you suggest what are the Kflop components required to run a 4 axes robot?. Is it possible to run a servo motor with encoder directly with Kflop board without an separate drives for it? Is there any servo motors with encoder can you suggest that is suitable for Kflop board?
If we are need to but a servo motor with encoder and its drive separately, Is there any specification criteria for the servo motor like its input power voltage that we need to aware before buying an servo motor with encoder and its drive.
If you need specification of motors like its holding torque, The holding torque will be 2 N/m.
